Reduce, Reuse, Recycle is the motto of an environmentally conscious man. If you have not been recycling, you will be surprised at what you can do with seemingly useless household items that we mindlessly throw in the garbage.
Here are five things you must never let go of:
1. Foil Paper
It has been called the foil for “1,001 kitchen miracles. Foil paper is highly versatile and can be used for various purposes. For instance, you can use it to sharpen scissors, scrub pots and pans, and as a funnel.
2. Gadgets
Did you know that if you recycled one million laptops, you would conserve almost the same amount of electricity as 3,500 homes use in a year? Well, now you know!
3. Wine Cork
Don’t throw the cork in the trash next time after popping open that bottle of champagne. You can glue them together to make a DIY bulletin board or a DIY bathmat.
4. Plastic bags
Although plastic bags cannot be recycled, they can be reused. Rather than throwing out that plastic bag, why not use them as gloves on cleaning day, or put them in a pillowcase/cloth to make a pillow for your pet.
5. Toilet Paper Tubes
Toilet paper tubes are of even more use outside the toilet. They can be used as a grocery bag dispenser. The hollow space can be used to keep several things, from Christmas lights to extension boxes or hair bands or clips.
